Ballet

Adults & Youth

Ballet focuses on back and core development, arm gracefulness, strength, flexibility, and the endurance for complex movements. Classes follow a traditional format including barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. Classes also include science-based strength training.

Barre

Adults Only

Barre is a full body workout inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, Pilates, and strength training. The focus is on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen, tone, and lengthen muscles. The class includes combinations at the barre, center floor, and mat work.

Contemporary

Youth Only

Contemporary dance is an exploration of emotions and feelings that includes elements of ballet, jazz, and modern. This class emphasizes full body expressive movement, improvisation, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as expressive and technical choreography.

Hip Hop

Youth Only

Hip hop encompasses a wide range of street styles including break dancing, tutting, and locking and popping. This class focuses on developing rhythm and coordination while encouraging individual style. The class consists of strengthening exercise circuits, across the floor movement, and original combinations.

Jazz

Adults & Youth

Jazz dance is an exploration of style and presentation. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography. The class consists of a cardio warm up, across the floor movements and conditioning, and original and traditional jazz combinations.

Lyrical

Youth Only

Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. This class focuses on expression and interpretation through dance. Dancers will learn to use their movements to convey the emotions and meaning of the music's lyrics.

Mini Movers

Mommy & Me (Ages 0-3)

Join your little one for a short dance instruction and lots of open studio playtime! Open for ages 0-3. Our little movers can practice basic motor skills, play on our tumbling mats, dress up and dance around, and more! Mini Movers must wear grippy socks or ballet flats when in the studio.

Pointe

Adults & Youth

Pointe will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center, and across the floor work, and variation combinations. Classes include science-based feet and ankle strength training.

preschool dance ages 3-5 tucson az dance classes

Preschool Dance

Toddlers (ages 3-5)

Learn dance basics while getting those wiggles out! This class teaches foundational dance steps and skills with a circle warm up, ballet barre movements, dance games and challenges, and freestyle dancing.

Yoga

Adults Only

Our  Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes emphasize the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. This class moves from pose to pose with each held for no more than five to eight breaths. Expect a fully balanced class of forward bending, twists, backbends with opportunity for inversions.

Yolates (Yoga +Pilates)

Adults Only

This yoga & Pilates fusion class develops a longer, leaner, stronger and more graceful body by improving muscular symmetry, alignment, posture, core-strength, and flexibility. The class incorporate small weights and props and is in the dark.
